Kauai at Home

We went to Kauai to have fun.  I had a lot of fun.

We found a dog in our backyard at the hotel.  I rubbed his tummy and pet him.  The hotel was nice.  I picked Hibiscus and Plumeria flowers to make a bouquet for my mom.  There was no TV in the hotel.

Sunset near the hotel

We went to the beach to get on the boat.  The boat ride was fun because I took a nap and I ate Doritos and a sea turtle stuck his head out of the water.  That was funny.  When we got out of the boat, we saw a river.   We played at the beach.  I found lots and lots of shells.  It was very very fun.

One day, we went kayaking for a long long long long long long long long long time.  I liked finding a coconut in the water.

We went to the park on the day we had to go.  We played on the playground for a very long time.  It was fun to climb to the rocket.  I LOVED the park.  It was fun to be in Kauai.

Good Friends

One day, we went to the beach and played and some people went snorkeling like my mom and dad.  Joseph did not want to go into the water.  It was very fun.  Then we ate a snack.  I was still hungry so I ate more wheat thins.  It was yum yum in my tum tum.  I like the beach.  Then we went home.

Afterward, we went to the science class at the park.  I spent all my time on the cover of my science book but I was listening, too.  The cover of my science book has lots and lots of hearts that I drew.  We did an experiment.  We put water in a dish and we put matches in the water and they were floating.  Then we put dish washing soap in the water.   What happened to the matches?  They spread out to the corners of the dish.  And then we went out of school and played on the playground.

I liked the hula class, too.  The teacher was nice.  We did hula.  It was very fun because we got to do stuff that I like.  We pretended to pet the kitty to move our arms in the right way that we do hula.  And I also made a friend.

Fish Tale

We saw dolphins at the Sea Life Park and we fed sea turtles.

We went snorkeling at the beach.  We saw fish.  We saw humuhumunukunukuapuaa, alaihi and lauwiliwilinukunukuoioi, pakuikui, oliuwiuwi, kihikihi and lauipala, kikakapu, hinalea lauwili.  I think I saw all of the fish in Go Fish! Hawaii version except for puhi kapa, the speckeled eel.  It was very fun.

Then we went home and it was school time.  I cut out words and pictures that I liked in the magazines and I glued them in my life book .  I used up three pages.  I cut out food and dolphins and fruit, cupcakes, smoothies, ribs, places, waterpark, dog surfing, snorkel, pineapple maze, lighthouse, flower, whipped cream, strawberries, bacon, eggs, waffle, sausage, pineapple.  I want ribs.  And I love my pictures.

Rainbows

There once was a day that was gray
and had a rainbow
in the night and day

I love rainbows because they have red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple in the rainbow.

I miss my bed.  My blanket is warm but it is not here.  I miss my home because I do not have my grandparents.  I miss my teacher and my school because I do not have any friends here.  I do like it here because we go to the beach and the volcano which we can't do in Arizona.
